I'm a charter bus driver and on my long haul days I carb overload. I try to take protein snacks but its much easier to grab a carb snack or drink a pepsi.
On Monday my day started way too early and was going to be way too long. Start number was 118 @ 330am, fasting. Went to 124 by 1020am, eating junk. Had a sandwich and more carbs all afternoon. By 7pm I was down to 88. Wasn't done working so had more sugar. Finally finished my day and was at 95 @ 9pm. Pizza for dinner. Morning fast was at 112 the next day at 815am.
Didn't take my Farxiga until late.
Last night again I drove long haul, ate candy, chips, soda, mocha, McDonalds lg mocha frappe. Had no meds and when I checked my glucose at the end of my trip it was at 95.
What is going on? Can someone explain why I can carb/sugar overload, sit on my butt driving and my numbers drop this low?
